Capacity Building Project

INSSPIRE project is funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in higher education programme which supports international and multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of higher education.

Inception

Researching the university policies, courses & educational practices, community services, online educational capacity, external stakeholders, and labour market requirements in Kenya and Uganda. 

Developing Staff Capacity

Strengthening the capacity of 100 lecturers of four participating universities from Kenya and Uganda for the delivery of modules on food systems and climate change.

Curricula enhancement

Enriching existing courses and developing modules on food systems and climate change in four partner universities from Kenya and Uganda.

COIL: Inclusive Collaborative Online International Learning

Building universities’ capacities for internationalization and facilitating the collaboration and internationalization of curriculum strategies.

Real-Life Learning Labs

Implementing experiential and problem-based learning where interdisciplinary teams work on real-life development projects addressing relevant needs of agriculture, industry, and society at large.
